Carré prints are objects of great beauty sold in limited editions and highly sought after by collectors. They are hand-crafted and hand-printed by the photographer personally, making each print a unique work of art.
Each Carré print is selenium toned to archival standards and printed on Bergger Prestige Variable CB paper specially made in France. Prints are signed and dated in pencil on the verso, and stamped with the photographer's seal. They are produced in limited editions of 30, for all sizes, with 5 artist proofs.
For each photograph, you can chose either the "B&W" version (black and white) or the "GT" version (gold toned).
For "B&W", Carré uses a selenium toner to maximise conservation. The image tone has a warm appearance.
For gold toning, conservation is also enhanced, but the aim of this process is to change the tone of the picture. The colour given to the image is between orange and salmon pink. This colour is barely apparent on a computer screen, and the thumbnail gives just an idea of the actual tone.
